Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes – the deposit is 50% of the total order value.
How can I pay? We take payment by credit/debit card, please call 01305 823300 or you can set up an account and pay online. Cheques are also accepted and must be made payable to Status Leisure Limited.
When is the remainder of the payment due? The balance must be paid BEFORE your trailer is collected or delivered.
Can you deliver to my home? Yes, your trailer will be delivered by courier.
How long will it take for my trailer to be delivered? It will take up to 28 days from when your order is received. As each trailer is made to individual customer orders, this is an estimate and we will confirm the approximate delivery period at time of order.
Must I be present when my trailer is delivered? We require the customer’s signature on delivery, this is essential. We will liaise with you in advance to deliver your trailer at time convenient to you. If there is no one to accept and sign for the delivery, the trailer will be returned to our manufacturer and the customer will incur storage and additional delivery charges when a new date is arranged.
Can I collect my trailer instead of having it delivered? Yes, your trailer can be collected from our manufacturing base in Essex.
Do you offer a warranty? Yes, we offer a one year warranty on the trailer. Details will be given at the time of order, or you can email us for a copy.
What is the speed limit when towing a trailer? The UK speed limit when towing a trailer is 50mph on single carriageway roads and 60mph on dual carriageways and motorways (unless a lower limit is in force).
What should I use to clean the trailer? We recommend you use soap and water to clean the Status Trailer with a clean sponge. A standard car shampoo or polish may be used. No solvents should be used to clean your trailer as this could result in damage to the trailer’s glass fibre body.
Should I have my trailer serviced? We recommend that your Status Trailer has a full service every 6 months and a check up after every 6000 miles. Trailers can experience just as much wear and tear as other vehicles and worn parts can cause accidents.
